We are saying a big thankyou to our school family for their support throughout this term. The year has started off well both in the classroom and with lots of sporting achievements happening outdoors. The school roll continues to grow

With the roll numbers hitting over 95% capacity the Board has now implemented an enrolment plan as per their enrolment policy. This means we have activated our enrolment scheme for the last positions available for this year. At this stage, because of other already accepted enrolments, we have just two places that have opened up and become available for the rest of this year. 4 1/2 year old School Prep Programme

Attendance Dues are changing in 2024

The school recognises that many families are struggling and we intend to remain being one of the cheapest Christian schools in the country to attend. Equally, the school is facing financial pressures too with the increase in costs in maintenance, resources and providing outstanding staff.From 2024 the basic Attendance Dues (AD's) will remain the same at $720 for the first child and $480 for the next. Maybe one thing that Covid has taught us is that we value relationships and they are important for our wellbeing.In the past here at Matamata Christian School we have enjoyed a close community and often come together and enjoyed each others company during events and activities. A number of school parents have got together and created a new parents connect group which meets fortnightly in the school library.
