The build up to our Year 9 missions trip to the Cook Islands is gathering momentum and our students are getting very excited. In order to make this trip happen though we have a large dependence on several fundraising exercises.
The main fundraiser is a concert our students have on Friday the 18th of September and we really want you to please come. This event will star the talents of many of our students through singing and dance. It will also include items from our legendary school choir, our new school band and will feature former student Jazz Vidamo, now a well known opera singer who has even performed with the legendary Sol 3 Mio in front of a crowd of over 5 000! This promises to be an amazing night.
Tickets are now on sale and are available from the school office, (eftpos is available), or from any of our Year 9 students. Adults are $15 and students $10 with pre-schoolers free. While the show starts at 5PM we will allow some time for people to roll in from work.
At half-time food and drink will be available for purchase so you can make a real night of this with your family.
All proceeds will be going to support our students to get to the Cook Islands and to help us with our mission at Imanuela Akatemia Christian School on the island of Rarotonga.
