Peria Christian Education Inc Proprietor Board Nominations
If you are wanting to nominate, second or accept nomination for a seat on the Proprietor Board, then you have come to the right place
There are two seats available on the Board this year. (2026)
Each candidate must be nominated, seconded and accept their nomination. These functions must be carried out online through one of the two forms below between Monday 12th October 2026 and Friday 23rd October 2026 when nominations close.
(Neither the school Principal nor employed teachers of Matamata Christian School are eligible to serve on the Board)

Nominee requirements
Trustees will be expected to have read and attest their agreement with the Peria Christian Education Inc statement of faith, definition of Special Character, sacredly held beliefs and eligibility for membership of Peria Christian Education Inc, all available on this link, Trustees should also be familiar with board governance and understanding policies, be willing to act as a Trustee, and comply with the Trustees code of conduct all available here.

How to nominate, second or accept nomination
To nominate or second a candidate using Form 1
The nominator must seek the permission of the potential candidate. You will also need to explain to them that separately to your nomination, they will need to log in and submit their acceptance of nomination online on Form 2 below. They can do this at any time prior to the nomination closure date/time.
The nominator must also arrange a seconder, and explain that separately to the nominators nomination, they will need to complete Form 1 below following steps 3, 4, 5 and 6. They can do this anytime before nominations close.
If not already completed, the nominator then must start filling in Form 1 below by entering your first and last name, your usual phone number and your email address.
Indicate if you are nominating or seconding.
Enter the first and last names of the candidate where indicated.
Add a comment if you wish
Check you entries and remember to click send to submit.
For the candidate to accept or decline nomination
Using Form 2 below, enter your first and last name, phone number and email address.
Select your response to the attestation
Select your response in the acceptance box.

Remember to click the submit button.
