Ag / Pet / Flower / Unusual Pet Photo / Baking Day
PROGRAM, RULES AND CATEGORIES
Ag Animals: We have lamb and kid (goat) entries and those involved will be based on the school field. Animals and students need to be at school by 9:30am. Students who have Ag animals may wear mufti and are allowed to go home with their parents at the end of the judging and prizegiving. Students who enter Ag animals are able to enter the Unusual Photo Competition and the Baking Competition if they wish.
Pet Day: Pets need to be at school by 9:30am and will need to be collected at lunchtime so that they do not get too stressed. Students can remain at school until 3pm. Rabbits/Guinea Pigs/Cats in Room 5, Birds/Fish – Library. Dogs to be tied up outside Room 5 please.
Unusual Pet Photo: Please either take a photo of your animal dressed in an unusual fashion or search on the internet for a funny picture. There are prizes!
Baking Competition: This is the first time we are having a baking competition. The guidelines are below:
- Baking can be bought, or made by a grown up or student.
- The decorating must be made by the student (advice may be given verbally only – no helping!).
- Judging will be on appearance only – elements such as colour, combination of colour, design and difficulty will be taken into consideration.
Flower Day: For all students that are not involved with the Ag Day competition it is expected that you create at least two flower items. These will be judged at approximately 11AM. You need to look at the criteria and bring the appropriate materials needed.
A sausage sizzle will be available on the day for $2.
It is an action packed day, to maximise the fun of this day make sure you are organised! Parents and grandparents are most welcome to come and help or visit with us during the day.
