Maybe one thing that Covid has taught us is that we value relationships and they are important for our wellbeing.
In the past here at Matamata Christian School we have enjoyed a close community and often come together and enjoyed each others company during events and activities. However, while for the most part we were able to keep in touch with each other during Covid, distancing and isolation also kept us apart.
Well that's about to change. A number of school parents have got together and created a new parent connect group which meets fortnightly in the school library. This is an opportunity for parents to get together and enjoy a time of community together.
The next get together will be on Tuesday the 16th December between 8.50 and 11.00 AM. Come and enjoy tea and coffee together and meet other school families.
Pre-schoolers are very welcome.
